Important
technical stuff to read first!
Videos can be viewed only if you have a high speed DSL or cable
(more than 150 kbps) internet connection. There are NO 56k DAILUP
versions available to watch.
The videos stream along a port that is now commonly blocked by
firewall software. For individual viewers you may need to adjust
your firewall settings to allow the QuickTime player access to the
internet. This has been accomplish by using an 'Auto Config' of the
application. You may also need to check your network settings and
maybe switch the player to a port 554 connection. Known blockages
are common at computers used at public libraries, education
institutions and corporate network systems, you may need to confer
with your system manager about the network settings. Even though we
test as much as possible we can't guarantee everything.
You will the need the latest version of QuickTime to view these
videos, it's free at Apple. Com. For Windows Internet Explorer you
will need an ActiveX plug-in for you browser.
When you click on a selection it may take several minutes at first
for the player to 'negotiate' and 'configure', after that subsequent
plays should start sooner.
Thanks and enjoy! -The Reelscene crew |
