website
There was a server problem with the website last Wednesday
and Thursday if any one tried to view any pages. Everything is back up
now with a few improvements on the 'back end'.
The next meeting of the AIVF Jefferson County Salon will
be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday March 9, 2004 at the Irondale Public Library. Details at

. The meeting is free to the
public.
The next meeting of the Script Development Workshop will be 7:00
p.m. Thursday Feb.19th at Books & Co. in Brookwood village. For
details and store location got to the Script Development web page listed above.

formatting.

Movie studio for the Shoals
area
From a Times Daily article dated Feb. 27
2004, a movie studio may be located in an old, unused TVA building in the
Muscle Shoals area. The effort is being spearheaded by Jimmy Johnson, Ron
Maxwell and Michael Anthony Curtis of Plumbline Entertainment. If
successful this would make for one of the world's largest studios to be located
in Alabama. Read more at
Summerfest Youth
Musical Workshop
Auditions for the Sumerfest Youth Musical Workshop
will be held Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14 at the Children's Dance
Foundation in Homewood, 2828 19th Street South. The workshop will be for

Giant, flying robots
swoop down to terrorize a large metropolitan city, the police point and
fire Thompson sub-machine guns to no avail. Public panic ensues. Swooping
down from the sky, look, it's a bird, no it's a plane.. no really a plane,
a P-40 with blazing .50 calibers in the wings. It's SKY CAPTAIN.
Borrowing heavily from 1930's Fleischer Studios
Superman episode "The Mechanical Monsters" , "Sky Captain And The World
Of Tomorrow" is due for release this summer.
